Last Friday I told the students about the pep rally and was trying to get them all pumped up and excited. When we got there one of the little boys asked me where the pets were. I looked at him puzzled and he said, "For the PET RALLY."
Last week we were counting
beans and gluing them on a math worksheet. One of my students seemed really
concerned and said, "MRS. BENEDICT, BEANS ARE FOR BURRITOS NOT PAPER!!!"
We were at the playground and I was holding the walkie talkie. One of my students said, "Mrs. Benedict I really like your HAWKY TALKIE."
When describing the PBIS cards to the students, and how they earn punches, one of the students asked "Well will it hurt real bad?"
You know you are in a
generation of technology when you are playing Duck, Duck, Goose with four year
olds and one of them says, "Can you please PAUSE the game for a minute?" - this
happened today during recess...thought I would share. :)
Yesterday the Pre-K class was
walking down the hall and this tiny Kindergartner looks at the
line
and says, "They are soooo
cute!!"
Last week I told all of the children to use the restroom before we went to
recess. One little girl came out of the bathroom with a serious look on her
face. When I asked what was wrong she said, "I can't go to the bathroom, I only
have to do a lot of farts."
